Kings County Legacy LLC was born from a deeply personal mission: protecting the veterans who protected us. Founded by a Brooklyn native now serving the DMV area, our company carries the name of Kings County in honor of where we come from and the people who shaped us. Too many veterans fall through the cracks when they return home, facing housing instability and the isolation of recovery from substance use disorder with nowhere safe to land. We started Kings County Legacy to change that — to build a home, not just a facility, for an underserved population that deserves so much more than what’s currently available to them.

Kings County Legacy LLC is a for-profit LLC built specifically to serve veterans navigating both housing instability and recovery. We combine a bankable, mission-driven business model with a deeply personal commitment to the veteran community. Currently pursuing VARR (Virginia Association of Recovery Residences) and DBHDS certification, we are pursuing VA Grant Per Diem (GPD) program funding as our primary path to sustainability. This is more than a business to us — it’s protection, it’s legacy, and it’s home.
